How much does HMI repair cost?+
The cost depends on the brand, the model and the fault. A touch glass replacement costs less than a main board repair, for example. We inspect your HMI first and share a quote before starting any work. Repair usually costs a fraction of a new panel.
How long does HMI repair take?+
Standard repairs take 3–5 working days, including full testing. For production-critical machines, we offer emergency repair in 24–48 hours.
Can an HMI touch screen be repaired?+
Yes. In most cases we replace only the touch glass (digitiser) or the LCD, not the whole unit. This works for both resistive and capacitive touch screens.
My HMI touch is not working but the display is fine. What is wrong?+
This is usually a faulty touch digitiser or a broken connection between the touch layer and the main board. Both are repairable.
Should I repair or replace my HMI?+
Repair is usually faster and cheaper, and your existing program keeps working. It is often the only option for discontinued models. We will tell you honestly if a unit is not worth repairing.
Will I lose my HMI program after repair?+
In most cases, no. We back up any available program data before firmware or board work and restore it after the repair.
Can you fix an HMI that is not communicating with the PLC?+
